Downtown Deliberations & Trip Report from a .25 denom, non-loca...

I am surprised that you say the nickel 10/7 DB machines are gone. Do you
mean the 3play/5 play and the 10 play along with the single play?

I was in Vegas from Jan 13 to the 26th and played the 5 play at the Golden
Nugget for 60,000 hands during that time. I did not play there after Jan 23rd.

I recorded my play and have the results on a spreadsheet if anyone is
interested. My brother and I lost a total of about $160 combined. We hit one royal.
The return was 98.9% mainly due to 17 fewer than expected 4 of a kind. We
got back $54 in cashback and an 89$ dinner comp, so we were pretty close to even
for the 60,000 hands.

I never did this before, but it was quite fun. We did 5000 hand ( 1000 deal)
sessions which took about 2 hours. Partly cause I had to keep track of the 4
of a Kinds and higher.

I sure hope the nickel DB hasn't been removed because we were going to try
it again in the future.

Bob from PA

I was thinking the same thing. The original report seems to show
play at the GN on Tuesday Jan 25. I know I played all of the nickel
Game Kings with 10/7 DB on Wednesday the 26th.

Hi Bob,

Perhaps I was looking in the wrong place for the .05 10/7DB. I
would certainly go with your observation, since you were at the GN
recently.

I was basically doing a quick walk through of the GN, since I am
staying there for 5 days in April. Since this is not one of the
casinos that I normally play in (though I have STAYED there many
times) I am not as familiar with their vp inventory as I might be.

Since I am comped there, on my April visit, and will play there a
LOT, I would be most interested in the location of the 3/5 play .05
10/7DB games. Please advise me if you can, either privately or on
the board.

I would be most interested in the results of your spread sheet, if
you would be kind enough to post it.

I'm sorry and apologize if I alarmed or misled anyone!

Thanks for your help!

Babe

Am going to Vegas 2/7 -2/9. We will be staying at the
Riviera.

Is there any good VP to be had at the Riv or
surrounding
area? Or are all the good machines gone?

I would welcome any suggestions.

Thanks,

Big Joe

Big Joe: The short answer is yes, there is some good VP at the Riv and surrounding properties.
In order to get full value out of vpFREE, you will find it beneficial to search and browse through the database.
You will see a link towards the bottom of this email called "vpFREE links" . Clicking on it will take you to a page called "vpFREE Links" ,
Click on Casino Database, on the Casino Database click on "Las Vegas", you can then scroll down and click on any Casino you
are interested in, and find detailed info on it, OR you can click on the LV Cross Directory and click on a specific game and get a list of
Casinos providing that game.
Enjoy your trip.
