What is the point structure for $1 VP?

According to the MSS slot club and the footnote on the MSS
vpFREE database, this is SUPPOSED to be the point
structure:

$1 and up video poker - $1 coin-in = 1 1/2 points
25c video poker - $1 coin-in = 1 point
5c video poker - $1 coin-in = 1/2 point

HOWEVER, if you are playing a multi-denominational machine,
points will be awarded based on the schedule for the lowest
denomination on that machine. That's why playing the 25c
slant-top FPDW will only get you 1/2 point for every $1
coin-in. These slant-tops are multi-denominational with
nickels as the lowest denomination so you are given points
based on the nickel schedule above.

Last Dec. I played a MG/MD (.25-.50-$1.00) for $1.00 and I got $1.00
= 1 point. So are you saying there are no $1 machines for VP? If
that's the case then vpFree database should be updated to just show
1/2 point for .05 MD minimum and 1 point for .25 MD minimum.

Nope, that's not what he's saying. Read again the paragraph
beginning with "However." At MSS, all multi-denominational machines
will record player points at the lowest denomination value for that
machine. Hence, if you play a MD machine with the lowest
denomination option at a quarter, then you will accrue points as if
you are playing quarters regardless of what denomination you have
chosen. You will also, however, receive 1 1/2 points for your play
on dollar and up machines, so the chart is accurate. Database does
need updating to reflect the chart H Rumpole notes. Probably also
needs accompanied by a brief note re the lowest option MD effect.
BTW, the points earning chart displaying these figures is taped to
the counter top at the slot club's center window.
