Downstream Casino Update

On a recent trip we stopped in this relatively new casino/resort in
NE Oklahoma (literally feet from the Missouri border). I did not
have time to do a lot of detailed scouting, but following are some
high level impressions:
-Quite nice environment, comparable to the better operations in KC
and St Louis.
-They have a players club. I was not able to get or calculate points
or cashback info, but they do track points and do have a $10 freeplay
offer for joining.
-As you would expect, most of the place is dedicated to reel slots,
however they do have a few table games and a fair amount of real VP
(not bingo based), especially at the bars.
-The only full pay table I saw was dollar 9/6 JOB. Two machines.
-They do have a variety of games at the nickle and quarter denoms.
Only a few at the dollar level with the aformentioned 9/6 easily the
best. The rest had short pay AA and PKM and a few other games.
-There was one bank of quarter DW that had progressives on the RF,
quad 2's and wild royal payouts. If the progressive got high enough
these might be interesting. They did not seem to be getting much
play though, which was true for almost all the VP machines in the
place. I decided to run my $10 of freeplay through a machine in this
bank and on consecutive hands hit quads, five of a kind and four
ducks. That was 10 deuces in three hands, so I cashed out and left!

I have stopped at many of the OK tribal casinos, and I can tell you
with confidence this is easily the highest quality of the lot, in
terms of environment, amenities and VP play. If you have been there,
you know it can get pretty bad. Think thirty year old worn out bingo
based reel slots packed as tightly as possible in the back of a gas
station...
