How do I really feel about people like Jean Scott & Bob Dancer? Well,
I've met the Queen and Brad and I've chatted on the computer with Bob

Counter=49 it deserved. My criticizm of these folks has nothing to
do with who they are regardless of what they've attacked me with in
the past. We differ greatly in our approach to a game, and that's it.
Jean's a reitred teached and Brad's retired Navy--two professions
which I respect very much. Jean's a real character but Bob's almost
psychotic in his demeanor when it comes to vp. Bottom line is I'm
happy for both of them for what they've accomplished in the business
world, however, I believe they creatively manipulate their
involvement in cyberspace and in the media when it comes to how they
believe others need to perceive they do when playing the game. I do
not believe they win, I've detailed why many times before, and it is
nearly all based on common sense as well as firmly knowing that no
casino would ever allow either of them to operate in the ways that
they give the impressions they do. At vastly lower levels, maybe. But
never at the levels they play. There's also one thing about Jean that
I'm sure she understands about me: Her son-in-law is or has been in
Iraq or Afghanistan. My son's still over there, and taking care of
his family is our main priority while he is gone.
As far as Dick's concerned, I'm sure he knows--as many people here
write me or tell me in person--that all I'm doing is egging him on. I
don't really have anything against him--he's probably a regular guy
just like I am. When he calls me a liar I'm sure it's just because he
can't fathom I can win the way I do, and it's really no big deal to
me how he feels. I used to be the same way when I was an AP whenever
anyone told me they won with ANY method. As of right now my "feud"
with him is over, and I apologize for bringing up and batterring him
over his wife's Lupus. My wife's been struggling with glaucoma since
her late 20's, and it's no picnic.
I'll be spending more time with my family in '08 and less time
playing. My son is returning late Feb. and they have a 2nd child on
the way. I have 3 grandchildren right now and while none of them is
over 3, I believe it's more important to be with all of them as much
as possible. And yes Dick, I do try to spend lots of family time
because when my children were growing up, I was living overseas most
of the time and was home only 25% of the time. If you and Jean and
others--esp. many of those WHO POST on vpFREE--choose to allow video
poker to be the main anxiety & driving force & most important
entertainment in your lives - and if it makes you happy to do that -
then great. To me vp has been an $800,000+ money-maker (and over so
many years that's really not all that much) but I won't ever allow it
to take over my life again. Good for anyone who's lucky enough to
win, and I really feel bad for those who don't year after year
because I've been there.
Most of the bad-mouthing & arguments on Internet forums can be
completely eliminated if people have the courage to meet face-to-face
with those they're not so fascinated with because of what they say or
how they present themselves. I only know of one person that I've met
with who still hates me, and that's OEJ719 on vp.com. His deal is he
lost before, he doesn't have the bankroll to play properly, I told
him he shouldn't be playing the game, and he's lost since. So he
blames me.
So everyone have a great holiday season as will I. You will not see
me pound on anyone any longer anywhere starting now, so anyone who
still can't stand me go ahead and blast away--it's a free shot!
BTW--it's a good thing for Fezzik that he turned down my $250,000 bet
offer that I'd have a better NFL season than he would. You can see
the cumulative documented results on my site, currently at +46 units
(1 unit = $100), and his picks haven't been so kind on LVA Sports.
