Double-Up on Royal Flush? Will this qualify as "Frugal"?

Just got the book "Tax Help for Frugal Gamblers" by Jean Scott and J.
Chien - a must (i think) when you get too many W-2s in one year. I
really enjoyed reading it. Have not seen/read her other books on
Frugal Gambling though.

How many of you out there have just hit the Royal Flush and went
prompted to Double-Up, decided to choose "Yes"? Please share the
outcome too. When that 4,000 credits starts flashing/blinking, I
couldn't help it but choose "No" each time. Maybe someday I'll give it
a try!

I was wondering if Jean Scott has ever done it!? Of course, I have to
assume NOT since the odds is just 50-50 or 50% on winning.

My wife saw an individual double up TWICE and turn a quarter RF into
$4000. This is the only time she or I have seen anyone attempt this.

Many years ago, at Casino Royale, my wife was dealt a $4000 royal, got
flustered and accidently hit the double up button.
She a 3 to beat and drew a 4 for $8,000

I don't even like to do it on a Full House.....I'd DIE if I did it on a Royal and lost!

Hi Elliot,

I hope you realize what a lucky man you are to have such a very
positive asset as your wife!

I can understand why they took you off their mailing list. Your
wife's good fortune was more than they wanted to cope with.

Cheers,

Babe
