Double Royals at Jerry's Nugget!

Every Friday and Saturday this month, they're paying double royals on quarter and dollar machines. They kicked alot of people out at 4 A.M. this morning, tried to deny cashback, and said they would fax every casino in town about the people they kicked out.
I know it's legal for casinos to kick out anybody for any reason, but clearly it's not moral, hence my post. I hope they get buried.
  They have $1 10-7 DB , 10-6 DDB , 9-6 JB sf=90, 8-5 JB 4k=35 (alias bonus poker), 9-5 White Hot Aces and lots of 16-10 Deuces.
4 times points for new members (may have to swipe card at kiosk), .167% CB normally + comp points which can be used in the gift shop.

P.S. They have a Ms. Pac-Man in their arcade with a good controller. The only other place I know of in Vegas with a good controller is the Skyline.

   Have fun...

Oy. Why take it out on players when they're the ones who came up with such a boneheaded promotion? Didn't they learn anything from the Tuscany double jackpot debacle? People will take advantage of opportunities; doesn't mean you have to treat them like criminals.

Shame because Jerry's had really put in some owner-added improvements and it was gradually getting to be a nice place.

What does the above mean? That every $1 vp game was converted to $0.25 vp for the day?
I can't imagine that.

That the double royal is paid at the $0.25 machine amount, regardless of whether it's a $0.25 or $1.00 machine?

Hate to point out the obvious, but you gotta expect some shadiness at a place called jerrys nugget. :frowning:

Yep, that is what Jerry's Nugget did. On Friday, they had all of their usual games at $1, $0.50, and $0.25 levels. By Saturday, nearly all the machines with good paytables (99%+) no longer played at the $1 level. They only allowed $0.25 play. At least, that was the clear intention. A machine or two fell through the cracks.
Apparently, $0.25 was too much for the casino. They kicked some of my relatives out after hitting a second royal at the $0.25 level for double payouts.

One can only laugh at how poorly conceived and managed this promo was.
