Double Pay (was Re: $18K Dealt Royal)

Harry, I think your analysis is correct, except that 12,000 quarters plus
42,000 quarters is 54,000 quarters = $13,500. Perhaps the dealt Royal part pays
60,000 instead?

Why was this worth $18k tho? I see 30 credits were bet and that the
denom is 25c... so shouldn't that be $6k?

That would be the case were the machine standard triple play. But
this is Double Pay / triple play, where hands not only pay on the draw
but also on the original deal. So, in addition to the 4000 credit
payout for each of the final hands, the royal on the deal paid
(presumably) 42000 credits ... total pay = 12000 + 42000 credits ($18K).

er ... Brian, with inflation isn't a quarter worth 33 cents these days?
Blame it on the hour and a short nights sleep

I'm 99% sure that the 60K credit amount is right, now that you mention
it (it's been about 6 mo. or so since I've glanced at the game).
