sorry (well,not for the circumstance) for another note here on this topic,
but two weeks ago i reported that i was dealt a diamond royal on the third
line of double pay poker for 15K. well, this weekend i was at harrah's rincon
(yes, in the midst of the wildfire outbreak, which was east and west of
rincon, but not to rincon, at least as of Sunday noon), and for the first time i
saw a double pay spinpoker machine, so i thought i'd give it a try. since it
requires 90 coins, i played dimes instead of quarters, and, yup, dealt a royal
on line four, again in diamonds. *only* 6K this time. being dealt royals
twice in two weeks is weird enough, but to have both in diamonds... and to add
to the weirdness: i haven't been dealt a royal in years. the last time i
was dealt a royal was in clubs on a single line dollar machine, and, yup, two
weeks later i was dealt another one, and yup, it was in clubs. i love when
this type of statitistical 'improbability' happens; it makes up for the nights
i go 100+ tries without drawing four of a kind, going in with three. those
wacky vp gods.
