Double Deuces at the Las Vegas Club

The VPfree database claims that the LVC has the rare 16/13/4700
Double Deuces.

I stayed at the LVC in November and the paytable was 16/11/4000.
Maybe they changed them back, after all it probably only takes a
toggle of a switch. Anyone actually see this version since the first
of the year?

My notes say 6-.25, 2-.50, 2-$1...all 16/11. A mystery to me.

BS

I didn't have my BD strategy cards in front of me and got these two hands in
a row.
I got them wrong thought they might be interesting for others novices. I
looked up on vphomepage the EVs and noticed there was a close call with one
of them. The other is more major but is also a standout in the EV list.

Playing on WinPoker I'm comparing two hands:

     Hand Winpoker Indication
9s 6h 3s 4h 5h Keep SF3

       vs

Jd 10c 9c 8c 3s Keep ST4

Of course, I went for the straight on one and was told I was wrong so went
for the straight on the other one and was told I was wrong. Therefore I
investigated - knowing I either missed a penalty card situation or just a
gap/inside issue because of a deuce.

Just this past Sunday afternoon I was playing the Double Deuces on
one machine in the sports book while watching the Raiders beat the
Jets. First time I looked for the $.25 game at the LV Club. Great
location...a slant top game that was facing the TV screens.

Happened to hit the Royal...the slot attendent said congrats on
winning $1,000...I quickly pointed out that the payout should be
$1,175...no problem. Had the under in the fotball game as well!

The speed of the machine was pretty good...especially when compared
to the $1 10/7 DB...which is kinda slow...The Double Deuces game at
750 hands per hour compares favorably to $1 10/7 at 500 hands per
hour, only about $2 less in expected return per hour counting the
normal .2% cash back.

I think there are other scattered around the casino...did not look
too hard as I found the one in the sports book...there may be
others...look in the multigames as well.

Forgot to mention that this was the 4700/16/13 version...returns
around 100.9%
