I'm an out of towner and I got double cash back on Memorial
Day.That's also
when I found out from a very friendly slot club person that comps
expire after
13 months (I had an hour to figure out how to spend 100 unused comp
dollars
in the gift shop) but I had no idea about the $1000.00 limit. Guess
you have to
exceed it to be told! Before the new comp dollar system came in, I
have tried
several times to get the attention of a host only to be told on each
occasion
that my level of play does not warrant "host" intervention, yet for
the last 12
years I 've gotten invites from everything from New Year's Eve galas
watching
Tina Turner, Patti Labelle...etc to 3 free nights in the Palace
Tower + $100.00
food credit,or $200.00 birthday restaurant credits or $500.00 card
shopping
sprees or invites to free slot tourneys with accomodation...etc.
Whenever I call
Casino Marketing to ask what can be done for me, I usually am given
three
free nights and limited food and beverage (everything but the gourmet
restaurants). The last time I talked to a host (about four years ago)
was to see
if I could have a breakfast charge picked up because I went overlimit
on a
food credit. The amount was $35.00 if I recall. I was told no. I've
never tried
again after that as I hate begging and I always manage to cover any
overages
through my comp dollar account. Frankly I don't miss not having a
host at
Caesar's (though I have one in other places I play) as the offers
keep coming
and I do like to stay there.

Thank you for the reply,
I did do the double cash back, pretty good deal. I did find out
that there is a
limt of $1,000 in your comp bank! I had no idea! and Since I was at
the $1,000
comp balance, no new comps accured. So I lost out on $200+ in comps
tonight. The slot club representive told me to talk to my host,
Wich is funny
because I don't have one.
