Double Bonus vs FPDW

Which is the better game for low rollers to play?
We used to always play BJ (me) and slots (wife), but
discovered the wonderful world of VP last trip. It seems from the
tutorial software that I practice on that DB is the better play. It
seems that in FPDW unless you get the quad deuces the credits just
drain away, whereas in DB any quad is a significant win. I have
heard FPDW is the best beginners game because DB is complicated. I
have gotten very effecient at DB (99.8% of EV).
We would like to play for as long as possible without eating up huge
chunks of bankroll, so we can begin to get the good comps.

Any game that you play can suck up your money in a hurry.
DB will bury you if you hit a quad drought. Deuces will sometimes do OK without the quad deuces, and other times will go into 'Hoover mode" .
You should play what you enjoy and let the comps fall where they will. If you really want to make your bankroll last, you should go to a low volatility game like 9/6 JB.
I play them all, because I like variety, you may also want to consider Pick-Em, which is a very easy game to master.
