they confiscate the paper (I offered the pen as well but they said I
could keep that!). Never had that happen before! After another 15
minutes 4 of them came back again and asked me for my ID (I was
starting to become a hit!). They wrote down my details and then left
me alone.
The ironic thing about all this, is that I always play with a
strategy card which I sit on the machine in plain view. They didn't
seem to care about this. Very strange. I guess us 25c PKM players
are more dangerous to the casino than I thought!>>>
You won't get any sympathy from me. I've advocated before against using PDAs
in casinos.
Even if it was a first-generation Newton, you still would have gotten the
same response.
You & everyone else on this board may know that you're innocent of any
wrongdoing but we're not the ones you have to prove it to. Casinos have been
burned so often that it's a knee-jerk response for Security to adopt a
zero-tolerance policy to electronic devices.
What we have is a culture clash. No amount of logic is going to bridge that
divide. The smart response is to recognize it & don't try to force the
issue..
Save the energy for a battle that's worth winning.
I've also got a PPC w/Excel but always kept stats on paper for entry later.
The only contact I ever had with Security was when they were kind enough to
baby sit my machine.
