Don't need this nonsense

Boy, there's a double standard here! I read the sneering insults from
"TedChee", endorsed by some "Liz"...that's perfectly all right! And
apparently whenever I post on this board, it's the consensus of the
membership that it's open season, that I have automatically given
carte blanche to all to use WHATEVER language they want to use in
disagreeing with me. I certainly respond in kind when someone posts a
nasty reply. But I do NOT initiate the name-calling, the investive,
the insults.

There are plenty of people on this board who observe a decent level of
decorum. I don't mean to lump them together with the people who for
me, have ruined this board. Just like a couple of loud drunks can ruin
a large party, a few loudmouths who cannot disagree without insults
ruin the newsgroup experience. This, by the way, seems to be true of
just about ALL Internet newsgroups. The Internet is a refuge for those
who lack the social skills to interact with the world face-to-face.

Let me ask you, and this includes Tom, the VPFree administrator: are
TedChee's comments to me what you consider "within bounds", or not? I
consider them sarcastic and rude. If I am the only one who thinks so,
then it means to me that this board is no more polite than a
grade-school recess.

I have reread my recent posts. In NONE of them--NONE--did I insult, or
was I sarcastic to, anyone in this group.

Well, it's a moot point anyway, since there are no positive video
poker games left in Las Vegas. Those machines with "positive
paytables" have had chips installed that force the player's winning
frequency to 98% or below. Anyone who plays VP, or believes in the VP
myth, is assuming the role of a sucker. Really now, did anyone think
the casinos would let a game exist for TEN YEARS wherein the average
player could beat the house?

Kevin,

Hope you're still listening -- I have two words for you:
