don't count on 3X for NSU at Palms--WRONG!

First of all, I completely disagree with your first sentence. Not even sure
what it means, in this context. My "Pretty easy, huh?" was the only thing I
"asked" and it was rhetorical.
Perhaps you were referring to Misscraps asking about the promo at the slot
club? If so, you did not quote any of her post, only part of my response. Very
confusing.

Second, at the Palms during multipoint promos, you can see on the card
reader display how many points you get each hand. If you are playing dollar
3-play, you get 15 points on a single point day, and 45 points on a 3X point day,
for each hand played. If a particular machine does not qualify for multipoints
(in this case, only 100% machines are exempt), you will only see single
points displayed. The points are added in real time, not adjusted later. The
exception to this is if you use a multipoint coupon, like the one in the LVA POV,
in which case they make a manual adjustment later to give you your bonus
points.

Since Linda (misscraps) posted her original message after two days of 3X
points had already taken place, all she had to do was post a question here (or
on vpmail2), whether or not the machines containing NSUDs did indeed give
triple points. I, or many others here, could have answered this question. Instead
she chose to assume you won't get 3X points on those machines. Pretty
negative, but Linda has made it clear that she doesn't like the Palms.

It is better to beg for forgiveness than to ask permission - you
should have not asked anything. Technically, you are correct and
because they are not 100% return and because the Palms is not
consistent with enforcing its promotion ban on the NSU games, had
they refused to give you 3x points after playing - call Gaming - you
will be barred for life from the Palms, but the rest of us will
thank you-

I agree completely with Brian's statement that you can spend 10
seconds standing behind an NSU player on Tuesday or Thursday at the
Palms and determine whether 3x points are being awarded or not ---
although you have to be a little bit savvy with arithmetic to do this.
If someone, for example, is play $2 Triple Play, you have to be able to
figure out that the normal bet is $30, so 3x points is 90. None of this
is difficult for many --- but it's not equally trivial for everyone.

A more intesting question, to my mind, is whether the "normal"
daily maximum of 40,000 bonus points applies. This you CANNOT see,
because the "normal" Palms way is to record all the points as 3x, and
then within a few days, adjust the points downward to reflect the limit.
There is no indication that there IS a limit --- except that's the way
the Palms usually does it.

To find this information out (if it is relevant for you --- some
players never play that much), you need to record your ending point
balance as shown by the machine and check back a few days later. Or ask
someone like Brian or me (who basically ALWAYS play more than 40,000
bonus-points-worth) and we'll tell you. Right now I can't tell you as I
played on Thursday and haven't been back since. I'll definitely go
tomorrow (email free play), and I'll post what I find unless it's been
specifically posted before then.

Of course, the fact that Brian or someone else HASN'T posted
that they had points removed for Tuesday or Thursday play exceeding
40,000 bonus points is a pretty strong indication that there's no limit.
It's fair to assume that SOMEONE knowledgeable played last Tuesday and
has been back since.
