I have ten different codes for Dollar and none of them work. The
only code on the website that will work is CTI. But you only get
$15.00 off with a coupon on an intermediate sized car and the code
doesn't work for LAS. Am I doing something wrong?

What time period are you reserving for? I recently made a reservation
for January and did not get a discount with the codes BUT the price
was as good as I have had the past few trips with codes.

Sometimes CTI works at LV, sometimes it doesn't. I you're getting an
error close to "This location does not participate in this
promotion", but this isn't the case.
I tried CTI for an upcoming trip later this month and it didn't take.
Made a different reservation for a friend who has a reservation in
February without a problem.
In a nutshell, CTI is a coinflip. Add in the possibility of getting
$15 off per DAY instead of per rental and it's the best code on
the 'Net. My July rental cost me $8.17 TOTAL with all taxes for my 5
day rental.

I am trying for the 2nd week in Dec. for one week. Compact car rate
is $95.00 + tax for the week. I've gotten much better rates last
year. Thanks for your responses. I think I am just going to keep
checking the Dollar website in the weeks ahead.

All right, something's fishy going on here...trying to rent @ Dollar for
the week before Christmas (14th-21st), no codes gets me 99$ (before
taxes/fees, etc,) a week for intermediate, using their code for web
specials gets me 139$ for an intermediate; none of the supplied codes
from the group seems to work...any ideas???
It's getting to the point that renting at the airport is cheaper (all
fees/taxes in) than renting at the Golden Nugget Dollar
depot...something's not adding up here...again I yield to the superior
knowledge of the group's members for help...
