In routine, everyday play anyone trying to maximize their profits will
always choose the highest EV option when playing a hand. Players with
different goals may choose other strategies, but in doing so they lower
their profit expectations.
New paragraph
Adequately bankrolled, advantage players whose goal is to maximize
profits should usually choose the highest EV option when playing a
video poker hand. Different strategies may sometimes be better for
players who are under-bankrolled and/or risk adverse.
