Does Wynn still give you free buffets?

I am going to vegas next week and will be playing at Wynn one
night.I was wondering if you can still get a free buffet if you get a certain number of points? I think it was 750 points in past but you had to use it on the current trip . Thanks.

That's funny. I'm going to Vegas on Monday and I'm staying at the Wynn on Mon-Tues, and I was asking the same question at the Las Vegas Advisor.

I just looked up the thread there, and I didn't get a solid answer. Some from a while ago said 50 points. Some said 75, and one said they let you spin a wheel now and don't offer the buffet. One guy said he accumulated 400 points and got offered 8 buffets.

So who do you believe. Like someone there said, call the Wynn and ask.

I may be way off base here, but I seem to recall that the 750 points per free buffet is only operative when you are NOT actually staying at the Wynn/Encore. When you are staying there, I believe that you are told to charge it to your room and then settle up with a Slot Host when you are about to check out.

(Again, this is my shaky remembrance....)

perhaps the only definitive way is to go there, ask very specific questions of the staff at the?Players Club desk, get and write down the name of the person who told you the answers (+ date+time) and then go earn the requisite points if there is enough playable machines that you like.? Might want to ask if they could write down for you what the requirements are, they may not comply but worth asking.

Being able to track your request back to the original person does help.? Get told no?? Ask for supervisor and go through it again armed with your prior info and contact person.

That is what I plan to do when I go there over Labor Day.? I haven't played there since the first few months they opened.? Not even sure if I am still in their system or not.?

Thanks for the replies. my experience with wynn is that you have to get the right person at the right time. Once i got two free buffets by just asking even though it was a week after i last played.

Also, it is true that if you stay there ,they expect you to get a certain number of points before they give you additional comps. In addition, a host once told me the points per day are different if you stay at wynn or encore.

i think i'll play and then ask the next day.In the past i have asked how many points i needed and was told 750 but then next day i was told i had to ask for it the same day i played. Another time ,as i mentioned above, i asked for it a week later.

Of course you need to play more to get more comps. They aren't giving things away for free.

I would doubt if there was a difference in he amount of points between the Wynn and Encore.
