Does NSUD's .2% greater return outweigh the greater variance than JoB?

Just wondering you guys think about NSUD vs 9/6 JoB.

Is the .2% worth the variance increase?

Heres my opinion. 9/6 JB is a great "grinder" type game. Great game to play
out a couple of hours of
VP and establish a relationship with a new casino. I usually set a modest
goal of Doubling my money and quit when achieved. If you want to win beyond
this, you really need to hit the royal.

- Nsud - more volatile yes, but not bad at all compared to Double double
bonus. Great thing about NSUD is the 4 Ducks mini jackpot. You can win more
than 2X your money by hitting a few ducks and
NOT hitting the royal. So I prefer NSUD when both games are available.

Absolutely. If you can play both games reasonably accurately and have
sufficient bankroll for the additional volatility of NSUD (it's
significantly higher, but not overwhelming) then playing NSUD is a
smart move.

That said, I've suffered sufficient losses this year where I feel more
comfortable notching play risk down just a bit for awhile. (But I do
have a reasonable bankroll for both games.) Thus, I'm foregoing the
opportunity to play NSUD for JB play lately.

depends on comps/coupons/promos
financially speaking, there is the kelly criterion, and that says
that for optimal bankroll growth, increased variance requires the
same increase in yield (linear relationship)
some data that may be of interest:
9/6job with 1300rf: ev=+.95%,var=55
nsud with 1300rf: ev=+.95%,var=55
10%ror bankrolls:
9/6job +1%cb = 3600
nsud +1%cb = 3700
