I am pretty sure the system works on a daily average rather than a
monthly or yearly or ??? system. I play a lot heavier at their sister
property at Lake Tahoe (MontBleu), and with my heavy one day play
system I get terrific offers and perks.I have been making more than two visits a year. I will be in town
next week to collect on my baseball future ticket. I guess I need to
boast a little, as I bought a ticket last November for Tampa Bay to
win the American League at 75-1 at the Riverside. Last year I made a
trip to Laughlin to cash in on my Colorado Rockies ticket 35-1 to win
the National League. Next year I think I will be selling my crystal
ball predictions.

Yes, Hamstockman has been the progosticator. Yes, he has shared his bets
with me. Did I bet his futures? No, I did not. He almost went three years in a
row, but the sportsbooker hit the wrong button in 2006 when his $10 spot was
booked to win the World Series instead of the AL pennant (Tigers).
"More than twice a year"...it is true Hamstockeman is making his third trip
to Laughlin this calandar year. He is bringing his better half this time at
her instistance. When you have a piece of paper worth $760 with the words
"Devil Rays" on it you need someone to ride shotgun.
At least this November you won't get hassled trying to cash the ticket after
a change in administrations. That Rockies ticket caused some clamoring with
Marnell-Sher taking over CB, and Leroys taking over the book. Cashing a
MGM/Mirage futures sportsbook ticket added a few hoops. Thank goodness you booked
at the Riverside this season.
But I do think you made only two trips to Laughlin in 2006 and 2007, unless
you snuck into town without letting me know. That is possible, since we all
three ran into each other in the EW/sportsbar that one awkward day.
Other inflection points for referance:
May 31/June 1, 2007- we had to see the turning over of the keys at CB/EW
from MGM/Mirage to Marnell-Sher. Your white card got us two of the last meals in
the Orleans Room for dinner/then the Mississippi Lounge for lunch the next
day.
First week of June 2005- my last quarter royal flush. It was dealt to me.
It was on the old clunkers at EW/Multi-Pokers. Hamstockman made me sit next to
him two days later in the third row at the outdoor venue at the Flamingo to
see ZZ-Top.
Hamstockman brought his son down to Laughlin for his 21st birthday
celebration. His shiny red truck was new. I played some BJ with the kid at the EW.
When was that, 2004?
Time keeps on slipping into the future...anyone else see the PBS Special
featuring Steve Miller on Saturday night? In another ten years we can see him on
the river playing in Don Laughlin's lounge.
