My final thoughts on this subject..
The members of vpFREE are many and with various objectives.
1st. You have the Pros. They want to make a living at VP and
invest a great amount of time and effort into their chosen
vocation.
2nd. You have the advantage player. Not trying to make a living at
it, but wants to do as well as he can. Also puts a fair
bit of time and effort into it.
3rd. You have the comp hustler. Wants to get the most freebies for
their money, and has found that playing video poker reasonably
well is the best way to go. Puts in more work on finding the
places to play than in playing extremely well. Is happy playing
non full play machines as long as they are reasonable and is
being treated like a high roller.
4th. The intelligent recreational player. Plays occasionally and wants
to get best value for their entertainment dollar. Doesn't do a
lot of work on it, but knows what their doing and doesn't give
their money away.
I think this covers the vast majority of all the vpFREE members.
What do they all have in common ?
They all are smart enough to know that they don't know everything.
They all are willing to put some level of effort into reaching their goals.
Wherever each of us stands on this hierarchy, we should endeavour to realize that we don't all have all of the same objectives, but we all have some of the same objectives.
(To all the professional writers out there, feel free to quote me on this as long as you give vpFREE some credit for it).
