Why not just stay at the BC and walk to Harrah's diamond lounge (or if they
really want the Rio's take the Harrahs shuttle).

The couple will have a car available and are currently schedule to
stay at the Barbary Coast in late December. However, they could
switch to the Gold Coast if it would eliminate using the car for going
to the Rio. They do want to go to the Rio a few times to take
advantage of the Diamond Lounge. Walking is much more convenient if
the distance is not too far or difficult.
