Disruptive Posters on vpFREE

I find the title of your post "disruptive posters" highly ironic.
Have you ever read any of the trolls posts?

I read all vpFREE posts.

Let me ask you a couple more questions: How the hell do you even
know who I am talking about? Did you make a lucky guess? Did you
narrow it down to a hundred people and start from there? OR DID YOU
PUT IT DOWN TO THE ONE PERSON I'M TALING ABOUT RIGHT OFF THE BAT?
Have you noticed that he will respond with venom to any post except
one entitled "ban the troll." His silence is deafening on that
issue.

I didn't care who you were talking about. My post was a general
statement of vpFREE policy, and applied to everyone:

"Anyone who observes our rules and conducts themselves in a
non-disruptive manner is welcome to post on vpFREE. Anyone
who doesn't will have their posting privileges revoked.

I'll make the administrative decisions on vpFREE."

There were regular posters here that quit posting when he showed back
up, as I read it, for fear of his venom being spewed on them. Who in
the hell needs all that negativity in their lives? Yet, every day
you let the troll get away with spittiig all that negativism at us.

I don't blame him. I blame you. You are the one who is letting it
go on.

I wish that everyone always understood, approved and agreed
with my administrative actions. Regardless, I will continue to
enforce the rules as evenhandedly as I can.

And let me teach you a lesson about cutting someone off at the pass.
The last time I got into it with the troll you monitored me and would
not let my post about resigning from vpFREE go up on the site. I
figure my last post of a few minutes ago could get me the same
treatment. So I also figure you are in bed, Mr. Administrator.

This time you can't cut me off from saying goodbye to the vpFREEers.
Because that is exactly what I will do. I have burned many, many,
mamy bridges in my life. One more don't mean jackshit to me.

If you continue to allow the troll to take his toll on vpFREEers I
WILL BURN THIS BRIDGE DOWN.

I enjoy your posts and value your participation on vpFREE. I'll
miss you if you choose to leave.

Goodbye

I would hate to see Mickey leave. I have learned to overlook the BS and enjoy the information
and witticisms. I hope he will reconsider - but that IS his choice.

Just a note of appreciation ot VPAdminstrator and VPFae. This forum is a great resource for
all of its members, and the work of maintaining the system is formidable. I appreciate the
work done to keep it going, and am more than willing to accept the judgments that must be
made to keep it rolling, whether I agree with all of them or not. Someone has to do it, and
administration by committee never works- it has to boil down to one person making final
decisions, and whoever it is and whatever the decision, someone is bound to be unhappy. I
hope that VPAdmin is not feeling too "beat up" in this recent thread.

Thanks for what you do for us.

Agreed, we probably ought to say it more often.
It's a testament to the skill of these folks
that they so seldom have to overtly intervene.

I too would like to register my appreciation for our VP Administrator as it seems to be a
thankless job and someone has to keep order. I hope also that Mr Crimm returns to post as
the entertainment value of his posts add immesurably to this Board.

Happy Royals to all,

I agree whole-heartedly with these sentiments.

First let me commend the admin for his/her efforts. Second for taking
action regarding the disruptive posts that seemed to me to be come from
more than one direction.

I enjoy reading the tales told on here also, but think that all posting
should be civil.

Permit me to add my two cents here. While there are some very
fundamental things that the Admins and I don't agree over (and I wish
they would listen to my experience and counsel in such matters, but
that's for another day), they do a very good job overall in running
the board. Having to deal with a wide range of personalities, with an
equally wide range of expectations, is not an easy task, yet they seem
to keep things moving.
