I requested - and got - dinner for three New Year's Eve at the Prime Rib
Loft. My play is apparently only at the $10 level (normally was at the $25
level but I was away a couple of months this summer) but I had no problem
with this discretionary comp. They also sent me an invitation (I accepted)
to stay three nights over New Year's. I guess it's all in whom you ask for
what and when.
