I, for one, refuse to add this new worry to my
already overflowing bag of "what-if" concerns, about my own well-
being.
Having just returned from Southeast Asia, one day ahead of the
tsunami, I prefer to think about how blessed and lucky we all are to
live in the US.
The unbelievable poverty of many of the people living in Asia, can
make your heart ache. This latest disaster is almost too cruel to
contemplate. I know that with same generous spirit in which
Americans always respond to the woes of others, that we will
certainly do whatever we can to help, at least monetarily.
If our biggest worry is a temporary dearth of Royals, we have much
to be grateful for.
Happy New Year to all!
Babe
Great - now instead of worrying about dying in a car wreck or of
cancer or
AIDS or heart attacks....or perhaps old age...the far most likely
scenarios....
We can all worry about giant tsunamis, asteroids from space,
perhaps falling
space junk or even lightning strikes.
Hey - look on the bright side - maybe we will all get dealt royals
on the
redraw, get a dealt royal on 100-multi-play, hit the Megabucks,
win that Wheel
of Fortune super-jackpot.
Personally I am counting on all of the above good-things, and
living to 100!
