Sounds like pretty standard treatment he would get at most casinos.
Typically they will not pull security tapes in this situation. I know plenty
of people at plenty of casinos who at one time or another left a ticket at a
machine (including myself). In most cases if the ticket has already been
cashed they were out of luck. There was only one incident that I recall
where they still gave him the money but I do not recall what casino it was
at.>>>
Agree that this is standard treatment & you must remember that Security is a
dept that is completely separate from the rest. Customer relations is not
their mission. But must relate what happened to me at Peppermill, where a slot
attendant whom I tipped earlier for a medium-size hand pay noticed that I had
left $900 in a machine. He cashed it out & had someone track me down. They
found out I was a guest at the hotel & left a message for me to come by to
pick up my voucher. When I showed up, they asked for ID & gave me my voucher.
Naturally, I tipped again to show my appreciation especially for money that I
had completely forgotten about.
