Subject: Cal Neva comps ?

I played about 100k in 2 days, anyone know if they have any good offers
for this kind of play?

Haven't played Cal-Neva in about a year, but I imagine the cashback and comp dollars are the same. Each meter runs .125%, or did. It took me a long time to figure out the comp meter because the boothlings would not tell me what my balance was. But then I caught one who did. They do mailers for room comps to out-of-towners, mostly Californians. You'll probably get invited to their monthly? slot tournament. But your best move iif you are looking for room comp is to contact a casino host. As far as meal comp, you have to go by the booth and pick up how ever many comp dollars you want; which are good in any of their fabulous (scarf n' barf) restaurants.

Bev Heaps is very nice and will do for you whatever the powers that
be allow. But it is pretty tight.
My significant play at Cal Neva--and I am by no means a big player--
is at the tables. I don't ask for more than I need but there has
never been a moment's hesitation when I have asked for food or a
room. With one exception. I hit town unexpecpectedly just after
they closed the Virginian. They asked that in the future, I try to
give them more notice than walking in the door. The reason they gave
was fear they might be out of all rooms. That seemed reasonable to
me, since I was embarrassed about the lack of warning anyway.
In addition to room, free entry, and food offers, I have from time to
time gotten "Action chips". These are like matchplays in that they
are one use only. Win or lose, the dealers take them after the
play. I don't know if the slot department does something similiar.
As I say, I'm a pretty small player. I have gotten from $50 to $150,
usually $75 or $100.
If you like lobster bisque, the Copper Ledge's is pretty good.

Thanks for the info.

They did invite me to the private area for the showing of the
Delahoya fight with free food and drinks.

I ate at the new Mexican place there, OK, but not great.
