It can get weird sometimes what a casino sets up. An IGT Game King platform
can be put in service with twelve different game choices and five different
denominations. It also can be activated like an old single game/single
denomination machine.

Also, it is common to have better paytables at one denomination, sometimes
quarters or dollars. The games offered can vary by denomination too.

Examples I can think of in Laughlin-

Riverside- if the Game King has .05, .10 and .25 denominations all games
offered are unplayable (less than 98%). If the Game King is set-up with .25, .50
and $1 VP (same flavors) it is playable. The best play is 15/9 Illini Deuces
(98.9%) at .25 and .50 levels. Play dollars and the Deuces game is now NSUD
(99.7%).

EdgeWater- the bartops have twelve games and five denominations, several
full pay versions across the board from .25 to $5. But they chose to add a
progressive royal to the quarter level, but not any others.

EW also has several GK platforms on the floor that only have one game offered
at three denominations.

It gets goofy when they mix it up in the same bank of VP. One must pay
attention at all times. This is common at Harrahs-L where the GK have full pay
mixed in with short pay, but denominations and games offered are identical.
