Subject: WinPoker questionI'm leaving Sunday morning for my first Vegas trip. I've been
practicing my VP play with WinPoker. I checked the database & it
shows the New Frontier has .25 9/6 JoB w/Quad 7 bonus. I tried
creating this game in WinPoker & thought I did it correctly. However,
when I hit a quad 7, it only paid the regular payout for 4oak. I have
to say the Help portion of the software wasn't much help.Anyway, according to the WinPoker analysis of this paytable, it shows
an EV of 100.42% with a variance of 19.xxx. Does that sound right? I
think I've got it set up wrong. Thanks,
Kevin
One common error is setting the checkmarks correctly on Winpoker. It really
can be confusing on a kicker game.
Basically you are playing 9/6 Jacks with a 125 coin COD. A 125 COD will add
.4-.5% depending on the value (6%/13) card for your ballpark/on the fly value,
Aces the best.
If you have not been in the Frontier before these games were
uprights/slow/some don't hold credits. I thought the Friontier reinstalled some FPDW, which
used to be slant-tops. Maybe you might want to take a look at this game?
