Since the Westin promotion seems to be an active topic here, I found something interesting on it a few moments ago. On that $300 for $600 offer, Rob Singer sent out a newsletter about his investigation into it, and he said it wasn't a loser. Westin management also apparently knew what they were doing and why. Normally who'd believe this, except that he said he interviewed some big shot there and would print his name, title and quotes in an upcoming detailed Gaming Today column about that promotion. From what I've read here and several other places, that seems to contradict what he says he learned. Very interesting.

Subject: Re: Westin $40 for $20 offerNot only that, but all the $1/$2 9/6 jacks are now 9/5. The only playable games I could find were the $.25 machines on the floor: they still contain NSUD and 9/6 jacks. There is nothing in $.50 or above that pays higher than 98.9%.
