The word "comp" is obviously being used in 2 completely different ways here.
At the LVH you are comped in 2 different ways,
It reminds me of one of our University rules on travel:
"The traveler will be only be reimbursed for purchasing air-fare tickets at the
lowest available fare, even if the lowest available fare is not available."
