First off: Only my maternal grandmother calls me
Vicky.
Furthermore: I was never a fan of Harrah's but have
had family work for them. Part of my wrath is based
on a family members pending lawsuit which about all I
say about at this point. If they go to court, I will
point it out to the group.
On a personal basis I was barred from one of their
properties without reason given. When this happened I
was nastily escorted to my room by three Gestopo like
security types, and forced to move everything out
while my husband and daughter were away sightseeing.
Fortunately, I have several family members with strong
enough positions in Vegas that with a phone call I had
a room waiting for me at Caesar's. Finally, I was not
thrown out for cardcounting because I would never play
their extremely weak game.

deals that you used to receive.First, Harrahs has two dozen properties. The one in
Laughlin has been quite
favorable in my eyes over the last sixteen months.
I went Platinum in a Day
last July and Diamond in a Day in the past January.
VP in Laughin/Harrahs is
playable. True, you are correct, straight-forward
CB/BB sucks. But at least
for me, they have offered "Cash for Gas" on
slow/non-event periods in the
calendar. I have done 5 out of 6 of these, about a
1% kickback for my coin-in over
the last sixteen months.The Harrahs-L South tower (adult) room is by far the
best standard issue room
I get offered in Laughlin. The employees/service is
two notches better than
any other Laughlin casino. They even cashed in my
Susan B. Anthonys and my
dimes at the Main Cage. The gal stated they do it
as a service. There are just
a handful of old dollar slots left, since TITO
rules in this joint.Booking on-line at 3 am is a huge plus. No more
being put on hold for
fifteen minutes, like the River Palms and other
riverfront friends. Diamond
check-in and lounge are addicting. My mail box is
full...of straighfoward offers
for comped rooms, plus a show, tourney or logo itemIt is true that I have not played a dime in any
other Harrahs property.BS
