More observations- The NSUD acronym reference is just a designation for a
particular paytable (16/10/4/4)...Not So Ugly Ducks. According to some
historians this moniker was "thunk up" by Skip Hughes.
You can find this paytable version in the IGT Game King platform, where
several versions (up to twelve) of VP in several denominations (up to five) can
reside. These Game Kings hang out in uprights, slant-tops and if you are lucky,
bartops.
Sometimes this platform acts like a stand-alone game...called Deuces Wild in
the game's backglass. The latest twist is the game's glass will tout one
particular game, yet offer several selections...but all of these are on the same
deceptive Game King platform.
According to other historians the 15/9/4/4 paytable of Deuces Wild, an Ugly
but sometimes playable version, first appeared in the state of Illinois. They
also showed up in the Las Vegas airport.
What you need to remember Linda, is there are several versions of Deuces Wild
out there in the real world, some with very deceptive paytables like Colorado
Deuces (16/13, 96.8%), and they all play with a different optimized strategy.

I now declare the version of Deuces Wild (15/9), commonly known as
Illinois/Airport as "Illini" Deuces. Everyone on the left side of the room say
I-L-L...everyone on the right side say I-N-I! The 1976 Hoosiers are sucking air right
