In the spirit of your email, Dan, here's a VP question for the group:

Does anyone know if the IGT GameMaker, Multi-Denomination, Multi-Game
(single line) machines "use one deck of 52 cards" for all games or does each
game use an independent "deck of 52 cards"?

What, if any, implications would either scenario have on the return of a
game?

Good playing and good luck to all.

One deck or several? What does it matter? The virtual deck is thoroughly shuffled before each hand, so it doesn't make any difference.

I suspect that it's similar to the way I've implemented it in Optimum Video Poker. There is one array that will hold 57 card ID's. When the game is changed, the array is initialized with the standard 52 cards, plus 1, 2 or 5 jokers, then shuffling begins and is repeated until the player clicks a bet button.
