Digest Number 1573

To all members:

I thought this forum was intended for discussions about video poker. The only posts I saw in this digest that didn't belong in FREEvpFREE (or elsewhere) was one complaining about the loss of "good" video poker at NYNY (although I don't know what good video poker there ever was in NYNY) and one mentioning the loss of some game in another casino.

Can't we get back to talking about video poker questions and opportunities here?

In the spirit of your email, Dan, here's a VP question for the group:

Does anyone know if the IGT GameMaker, Multi-Denomination, Multi-Game
(single line) machines "use one deck of 52 cards" for all games or does each
game use an independent "deck of 52 cards"?

What, if any, implications would either scenario have on the return of a
game?

Good playing and good luck to all.

Well, gawrsh, Dan, can't you just not read the posts that are headed
"XVP" or read the header to determine if they discuss a subject you
think you might be interested in?

Also, why not use your vast knowledge and expertise to ORIGINATE some
threads that might be of value to the group?

The reasons we don't see the sort of posts we used to see are:

1. No one dares BREATHE about a good play; it will automatically die.
2. We have the database and other tools so we don't need to have posts
like, "I'm staying at the Silver Sphincter, and...."
3. Generally, we all know how to play the games that are out there,
and have the software to practice with.

So, if you find the QUALITY of the discussion lacking...OR its
content, let me ask you...if YOU found a $60/hour play, would you rush
to your keyboard and post it here for our edification?
