Did Sherman march to the sea through the Palms last night?

I had a report late last night that all NSUDs were being turned ugly - multi-line and single line. I don't have time to run over there and check out the war zone and assess damages. Does anyone else have the time and the inclination? I also heard that the 9/6 was being attacked also on the 3/5 Play.

We need a complete war report!!!!!

Sounds like management is reacting to the pounding the NSUD's took from
those earning tickets to the Hummer drawing...

If Jean Scott's report of a report is true, have, indeed, the casinos finally
caught up with us?

It seems as if we must be playing the "under 100%" NSUD so well that the
comp's earned put us "over the top" and far as total return goes.

It looks like gone are the days when the casinos provide us with a decent
living.

<smile>

Now, we can only rely on luck for a "positive" LV trip and, long-term, we shall
be on the negative side of things.

I'm sorry to take up space, but I just wanted to nominate this post
for "Best Subject Line" when we get around to voting for 2005.

I thought we weren't at war with the casinos, just the house edge?

:o) Thanks, Jean!!!

Drew

I agree...great line!!

Jean, did you teach History as well as English?

I was there this morning. The 25c 5/plays were ok. I happened to
notice that 1 bank of $ were down, but so were several banks of
machines. This does not necessarily mean a downgrade. As I remember,
there has always been a bank of $ 3/5 plays with lousy schedules. Had
I seen this post I would have scouted more. Is the sky falling? We'll see.

The 25c NSUD PROG and all $1 and above NSUD that
we checked this afternoon have been downgraded, except
for one $1 NSUD bank near west change booth.

We didn't see any 10/7 DB or 9/6 JoB downgrades, and
the 25c (3/5 Play) NSUD that Bill mentioned haven't been
downgraded. The 25c FPDW PROG hasn't been downgraded
and we didn't check for single line 25c/50c NSUD.

A report from a reliable source:

No multiline left at dollar and up, in either NSUD or JoB. No single line at $5 or up either.

Still lots of single line 9/6 JOB up to $2, and a couple of banks of single line NSUDs in $1/$2.

The quarter 3/5-plays with NSUDs are untouched, and no 100% games have been changed.

Heard that a big player hit a $100,000 royal at the Palms recently. I know Bob Dancer and a couple of other high rollers have been hitting the high-limit machines hard to win the Hummer!

Well the person who originally wrote that is just a bit testy today. I'm at
war with everyone and everything! However, I know I'll get over it!
