Diamond Lounge vs Registered Trip

I'm seen lots of questions about putting cards into machines etc. as
registering a trip,
but does anyone know if using a Diamond Lounge triggers a casino visit?

I am sure it does in Joliet. In fact an employee (friend of mine)
said they definitely track your visits to the Diamond Lounge.
