Diamond Lounge in Windsor

Is there a Diamond Lounge at Windsor? Thanks.

Yes there is, however it is restricted to Seven Star Diamonds only. I was just there and asked
the same thing.

What is a "Seven Star Diamond"?

Unless something has changed in the last 30 days, the DL at Windsor is
available to all 7* players and DIAMs with a tier of 50K or higher.

I asked the concierge in the new Augustus tower and that was exactly her reply.

There was no mention of 50k.

Maybe it depends on who you ask. I didn't pursue the line of questioning.

Now I am curious, do they serve the same dried bread and toppings,
salsa and chips as they do in Vegas? If they do it is worth trying to
get in!!

As previously mentioned, it is as it has been since Harrah's took
over a year ago, only available if you have more than 50,000 base
points period! We were there again yesterday and stayed in the new
Augustus tower for the Reba concert (same floor as her).

It's a usually very nice spread of fresh and quality fare. The
typical daily spread includes two hot entrees, one soup and a variety
of sandwiches. There's also a veggie and cheese try and a number of
breads to choose from.

Let the letter writing campaign from the Vegas-area commence.

REPLY: If you do have 50,000 Tier Points, you'll find that CW's "VIP
Lounge" has better food than any DL extant. The food is better than
even CW's own $25 buffet and its several casual dining restaurants.

Regretably, CW downgraded all of its high-limit Pick Em just last week,
so now the VIP Lounge will be of interest only to "low information
gamblers" and the few wise guys and gals who happen to be in Windsor on
other business and don't want to pay for their meals.

HET's management staff of Harvard MBA's (kin to the folks who brought
us liar mortgages) have decided that HET should court only ignorant
customers. Time will tell well whether, in this economy, ignorant
people can continue to accumulate and throw away enough discretionary
income to maintain HET in the style to which it has become accustomed.
My family includes two recent Harvard MBA grads, but I'm a long-term
bear on HET's current business model.

Trust me ... on the latter count lay the blame on the Wharton contingent!

I was at Caesars Windsor today [Sunday 7/20] and all $1 and $2/$5/$10
Pick 'Em are still full pay. No changes.

REPLY: Very interesting. I based my downgrade report on what I saw
when I was there on Thursday 7/17. On that date, the $1 games still
remained intact, but everything in higher and lower denominations was
short pay. If they have since flip-flopped in a pro-customer
direction, that's good news.

I do not play that kind of money. So, I guess, we will just skip the
Diamond Lounge there.
