Acording to http://members.cox.net/vpfree/FAQ_HET.htm,
regarding Diamond in a Day, "....Diamond status expires on
31 March of the following year."

If the vpFREE FAQ is incorrect, then obtaining DIAD in 2007
expires on 3/31/08. If the FAQ is wrong, it should be updated
so that there is no confusion.

I think the FAQs are currently correct. Do it in 2007 and you are good
until April Fools 2008.

You can't do DinaD back-to-back anymore, but there has not been any feedback
if anyone did DinaD once they were kicked-back to Gold after April 1st this
year.

Before July 1, 2006 the rule was they did throw in the remainder of the
current year, the next year and and three month grace period for a possible maximum
27 month DinaD membership period.

There was discussion of a player able to do DinaD last December (2006) and
get the benefit through March 2008. But no one has spoken up recently if this
is a true fact.

I have been Gold for 8 1/2 months now after enjoying a 27 month DinaD
membership when I did DinaD, during the first week of Jan/2005, under the old
pre-June 2006 rules. It was an experiment for me and I discovered that my Laughlin
action is best served at other Colorado River joints under the current
rules...limited length of membership, increased Base point requirements and no VP
games acting like slot machines.
