I have looked at a lot of the messages in the archives, but still have
some questions that would be best answered by people who have become
diamond in a day. Any help is appreciated here. We live in Las Vegas
but travel frequently to many cities that have a Harrah's casino. So
it would seem reasonable to become a diamond member if the cost to do
so was not excessive. Previous posts about this have done a good job
of indicating how much this might cost. The following questions were
not answered that I could find in the recent archives or Harrah's web
site.
1. Is a spouse allowed to enter the diamond lounge with their diamond
partner?

You can bring a guest and also get others in through a host, I hear.
2. Are the diamond benefits for a 12 month period, or do all diamond
members need to requalify in January?
+++
The cards are good thru 3/31/xx. Harrahs has a banquet in April for Platimum
and Diamond level players. I am not convinced yet (no direct inquiry) if D
in a D earned now gets you to 3/31/07.
3. Do any of the Nevada Harrah's casinos have a 2X or more times day
that would be best to qualify?
+++
Tier/Base points only. Every property does it differently but it looks like
you already have to be Platinum/Diamond in order to swipe at the kiosk to
activate multi-point days.
3. Would there be any reason to ask for the Platinum card half way to
the diamond level?

Don't be confusing the boothlings. They might make you start over.
Open for any additional points that the experts might make, can post
to this list or e-mail us directly.Thanks,

If you are in Vegas your quarterly Harrahsworld magazine's coupons probably
will have offers for Rincon, Reno-Tahoe, Laughlin and strangely New Orleans.
Mine are two nighters and show tickets/food.
Laughlin (my joint) offers are for tourneys, outdoor shows, cash for gas and
generic ones.
