Some posts have indicated that getting Diamond in a Day may have changed or
been eliminated. The best thing to do prior to "going for it" is to go to
the Total Rewards booth of the casino you are planning to play at. Ask to
speak to a supervisor. Say "I've heard I can get Diamond Status if I play a
large amount in one day, on the order of 2000 points? Is that still correct? If
so, how much do I need to play and during what hours." If she says yes,
take her name and go and play. At finish of play, go back, and request your
Diamond card. If there is a problem, give that supervisor's name.
Don't rely on email answers, because Harrah's organization is large and
answers could be wrong or delayed.
