Numbers are clearly the most objective.
Even the term "full-pay" is not always specific. Some players
consider 9/6 DDB to be that, but 10/6 is seen here and there.
A 99.0% cut-off level for the database is arbitrary. Some players
won't consider 9/7 DB playable at 99.11%, yet they would play Airport
Deuces at 98.91%. And 9/6 DDB continues to be popular even at sub 99%.
With declining paytables on the Strip, I suggest the most helpful
info would be to list any full-pay machine and perhaps one notch
below (i.e. 9/7 DB or 9/5 Jacks) to give members a good perspective
of inventory. Or perhaps "best available" might be the most useful.
Out-of-town members might not fly in for a trip to Casino XYZ if best
available is listed in database as 7/5 BP, for example.
