As a visitor this is having a much bigger impact than the locals. There
does seem to be plenty to chose from in the way of games to play, but the
places we want to play those games are getting much tighter with room and
food comps.
DonBoats recent experience at the Sunset station bears witness to this -
over $9000 coin in per day and nothing more than the room offer that dragged
them in to start with! The VPFree database says a room comp at GVR can be
had for "only" $25,000 coin in per day.
Like it or not, visiting .25 players are getting squeezed like like fish in
a drying desert puddle - Lake Mead?!
