Greetings from Las Vegas, Home of the Monthly vpFREE Lunch:
There have been several instances of personal, demeaning comments recently
that are not welcome on vpFREE. I routinely use various methods, publicly
and privately, to contain these occurrences, but they continue to crop up.
As of now, the past is forgiven and the slate is wiped clean.
The new SOP, effective now, is that I will deal with any future
comments that I deem to be demeaning, or easily interpreted as such,
by responding to the offending message, as soon as I see it, with
this boiler plate administrative message:

These comments may have a friendly and humorous intention, but they can
easily be interpreted as being demeaning.
Demeaning comments aren't welcome on vpFREE, and often lead to a disruptive
thread. Please help make life easier for the vpFREE Administrator - Don't
post anything that is, or can easily be interpreted as being, demeaning -
or reply to, or comment on the demeaning aspects of any such post.
This is a boiler plate administrative message that will be used by the
vpFREE Administrator whenever he deems appropriate. If any member's
comments trigger this message a second time, that member will be moderated
on vpFREE indefinitely.

Everyone have a nice day, unless you've made other plans, <G>
