I would vote to discard the term, but for one exception. "Full Pay Deuces
Wild" (FPDW) has been the accepted way to describe that game for a long time.
If we discard the "Full Pay" part, what do we call that game? 25/15/9/5
Deuces? 100.76% Deuces? Deuces Formerly Known As Full Pay?
In the case of most other games, we can define them by listing the payouts
on hands that are changed to alter the EV. Like 15/8 LDW, 7/5 BP, 9/6/90 JOB,
9/6/4 DB, 20/7/5/940 KBJW, etc. No real problems there. I guess when in
doubt, we can list the entire paytable! Awkward, but effective.
So I guess I'll vote to discard "Full Pay," with the understanding that I'm
still allowed to mention FPDW without being flogged! Assuming this is cool
with our hardworking, undercompensated Administrator.

Full-Pay Poll
The vpFREE FAQ uses the traditional definition of "full-pay"
machines which is: "A machine that has the best pay schedule for
a particular VP game, that can be found in any quantity in
casinos. Often it is a judgmental decision as to which pay
schedule should get the full-pay designation."
Do you believe that the term "full-pay" should be (1) re-defined,
(2) discarded or (3) continued as is?
1. I believe that it should be re-defined.
2. I believe that the term should be discarded and removed from
the video poker vocabulary altogether.
3. I believe that we should continue using the traditional
definition as is.
4. No opinion.
