I'll save Tom the trouble of responding. No, the lunch is not free. Everyone is expected to pay their own way. (Though sometimes people with coupons for free buffets are willing to let newcomers in on the deal, but don't rely on it. Count on paying.)
About 12-14 people came last month, and it was really neat. I'd suggest you go. I'd go myself except that I live outside Atlantic City and Resorts has 5X cashback this weekend (to lure people in on the slowest weekend of the year).
