Dec. 28 Trip:
Played at Horseshoe. Played 100 & 50 play; $5 single line and some $1
Multi-Strike VP. Started with money from pervious trip ( all from
their cash coupons and wins) and one $70 cash coupon (+/- $400) and
brought home $2500 +/-. This goes in the "Good Trip" category !
Eats:
Had a Birthday coupon for $100 worth of food at either Four Winds or
Jacks Steak House, choose Four Winds. Enjoyed dinner very much,
however... once again I didn't ask how much we had spent so far? Bill
was only $65? I should have ( should've, would've, could've??) order
another entrée to go! Oh well, as Homer Simpson would say, "Doh!"
Notice the Coffee Bar and used same this time. The Lady attending
said," They are planning a complete remodel of the Coffee Bar and it
will be closed Jan. 19 for a few weeks!" I like this feature. We are
Starbuck patrons. Who ever thought we'd be happy spending $5 for a
cup of coffee, Doh!? One note, they will let you bring your Coffee
Shop drinks into the Casino, Great! The Eldorado wouldn't, what a
pain! Just another reason for us to stay here!
Hotel:
The Hotel was having some trouble with getting the rooms ready? Seems
that a large number of the House Keeping staff was out sick with a
Staff Infection, so we didn't get into our room until 9:300 PM. Was
very tired by then, but they did manage to find us a larger suite,
which kind of made us want to stay another night... but didn't 'cause
they'd surely get their money back if we did, Shirley they would??
What does Shirley have to do with it?? Ha!
VP:
Started with the $.50 NSU Deuces SL games just to the north of the
100 plays because at 11:30 AM they were all full. One guy was even
playing two machine. Turned out good for us, though, because I hit
the "duck" and cashed out $500+. Good start! Later we both did manage
to play some 50/100 play VP but it wasn't hitting so we lost on that
play. We were up enough( means we weren't down from what we stared
with) to take a chance on the other offerings like $5 JB in the High
Limit area up by the Diamond Lounge ( it was open?, Thursday?) … I
guess it was because of the Car Give- A- Ways?
Managed several Four of a Kinds for a nice little pick me up. Then we
tried some of the $1 Slots there as well. Hit on them to for a few
$100's, FUN!
Next day we tried some $1 Multi Strike 9/6 Jacks and (even though we
haven't practiced hardly at all with the new VP Tutor from Dancer)
won $800+/-!? What luck!
VP was "very, very good to us this trip! I had a letter from HS
stating that if I earned so many ( ?) points I'd get an extra $62
cash back and every 150 point eared there after for the month of Dec.
I'd get an extra $5 cash back, mailed no doubt? So I now expect a
small bonus coupon in the mail.
Tried a couple hundred dollar bills in a 5 Play Multi Strike game and
it went through like water…??? Wow that went fast! Stay away
from that one !
