Haven't seen this posted here, the death of Andrew Glazer, prolific gambling
writer. Andy passed away this last week, at age 48, of complications from a
blood clot.

His death was quite a shock, although he had experienced
numerous health problems in recent years.
Andy's first love was live poker and he is generally
acknowledged as the best tournament reporter ever.
I first met Andy in 1998 when I was doing internet
coverage of the final tables at the World Series of
Poker for Conjelco. Andy succeeded me at Conjelco
when I retired in 1999, and I followed his career
closely thereafter. He was an excellent writer and an
ardent advocate for poker.
He will be missed.

Thanx, Tom, for some details about Andy. I didn't know him personally, but I was saddened by such a talented life being cut off all too soon.
None of us are promised tomorrow and yesterday is gone - today is all we have. Let us appreciate more what we have right now!
