<"Slightly more favorable" only as a conditional probability. To get
<a royal on a re-deal, you have to throw away your first 5 cards
<which may or may not contained an A,K,Q,J,or T.
after 7 years of playing recreational VP, I recently played .25 DDB at Trump
Casino in Indiana & was dealt a "junk" hand...........2,4,6,8,10 - mixed
suits. I pitched the whole hand & was blessed with a heart royal on the draw. Never
seen it happen before, let alone in front of me. Seems like the odds for such
an occurence would be astronomical. I was just happy, tho shocked, to see it.
Unfortunately, I missed out on the whole double paying machines. I was there
multiple times in December & never saw a bank of machines out of commission. I
wonder if they took them completely off the floor temporarily & put out some
"spares" they had in storage.
