I’ve had three over the years. The first and best one was playing on a 50-play quarter machine in Reno. I didn’t want to get a 1099 of I had dealt quads so I was only playing 37 hands. I didn’t mind signing for that one however. The largest payout I have ever had on a single bet.
The second royal I ever had was dealt, in diamonds, non-sequential, on a nickel coin-fed progressive for $208 at I believe it was Bill’s in South Lake Tahoe in 1989. I was on a blackjack tour in Northern Nevada, having learned a basic hi-lo count strategy earlier that summer and being able to count down a deck in 20 seconds. Great times.
