Dealt Royal on $1.00 Ten Play - Greektown Detroit

First time in my life I have seen a dealt royal on 10 play. Two
machines away from me last Saturday morning, a lady switched to $1.00
Ten Play (not sure which game she was playing) but she was dealt a
Royal in Spades and won $100,000. She had $45 left in her machine
before she hit. While she was waiting for the payout, she moved two
machines over and hit 4 Aces with the Kicker for $2,000. She told me
it was her birthday...Wow. Happy Birthday to her. What a great stroke
of luck. What would be the odds of a dealt royal on Ten play?

What game would pay $10,000 for a dollar royal?

Same as on a single line machine - about 650,000 to 1. Interestingly,
out of my 4 lifetime dealt royals, 3 have been on multi-line
machines. Then again, I play a whole lot of multi-line games so this
is to be expected.

Are you sure about that $100,000 jackpot? Normally it would be
$40,000....

I had this beauty once in my life. It was 25 cent 10-play at Red Rock
last year for $ 10,000. This picture is in the jackpot pictures on
this site.

I had never been dealt a royal in my 30 years plus of play. That trip I
was dealt a royal on 25 cent STP triple play at Green Valley. I figured
it would take another 30 years before I did it again. Two days later it
was dealt to me at Red Rock on the 25 cent STP 10-play.

I wonder how many years before the next one. LOL

If it were on Chase The Royal, it would be 100K. But there's no CTR in
high limit there. I think there's a few machines in the VP section
upstairs.

Assuming ten-play is line any other multi-play (where every play is
dealt the same initial five cards), the odds of being dealt a Royal
are the same here as in pretty much any game without wild cards - 1 in
649,740.
